Dr. Mitchell played sports in high school and loves competition.  He has  played tennis and enjoyed the competitive spirit and camaraderie of several tennis groups.

He has played some golf but may  need more  time to devote to the game than he has at the present. 

Snow skiing has been extremely enjoyable with his family.  Many  memorable trips to the mountains have been shared together. 

Water sports have always been a love of Dr. Mitchell's. Swimming not only was enjoyable for him growing up, but also provided him with  a job opportunity while in dental school. 

Boating became another interest to him because not only is driving a boat a challenge, it allows him to enjoy the water which has always been extremely calming and peaceful.

Dr. Mitchell tried racing cars for a brief time.  That endeavor was put aside to try flying.  He has earned his pilot's license and absolutely loves the feeling of flying.  He has learned that this is a continual process.  He continues to fly with his instructor in order to stay proficient and to continue to learn.  The more you do things correctly the better you become. 

Dentistry has provided his greatest creative outlet.  Nothing makes him happier than to see a smile transformed.
